VIBRATIONAL HEALING - a natural approach to healing, affecting a person's Bio-Energy Field

CHAKRA is an old term from the East describing elements of your Bio-Energy Field, elements that make up a whole integrated vibratory field supporting all your body functions. I think of them as power points within your Field. While the Field is composed of many minor points, there are seven major chakras relating to the seven major nerve plexuses and hormone secreting glands making up the vital control centers in your body. During my healing work I find it essential to connect and clarify each of the seven and encourage their coherence (collective synchronization) in the interest of your returning and increasing health.

Richard Gerber (author of Vibrational Medicine, Bear & Company) says: "At one level they seem to function as energy transformers, stepping down energy of one form and frequency to a lower level. This energy is, in turn, translated into hormonal, physiologic, and ultimately cellular changes throughout the body."

Or, as medical intuitive Carolyn Myss writes in 1997, (Why People Don't Heal and How They Can), "Chakras are often pictured as lotus blossoms or spinning wheels (in Sanskrit, chakra means "wheel" or "circle"), and each subtle chakra roughly corresponds to a location in the physical body. (A similar system, with different terminologies, is employed by some schools of Taoism in China.) For those in the West who are unfamiliar with Eastern terminology and metaphysics, it may be simpler to think of the chakras as computer disks that are imprinted with information of all sorts. Much like the hard disk in your computer, the chakras spin and take in data and also can be tapped to disgorge that same information. Each energy data bank resonates to a very specific vibration of energy needed by your physical and spiritual body."

As well as the structures and organs in a chakra's regional location, here are a few basic factors that emerge when working with the seven major chakras of the body:

FIRST CHAKRA	THE BASE OR ROOT CHAKRA vibrational rate of the colour red foundational to the whole human system dynamic interaction with the vibration of the planet interconnected with earthly family, and the whole "tribe" on earth
SECOND CHAKRA	THE PELVIC CHAKRA orange colour personal power area creativity, motivation, sexuality being attractive to others and being attracted to them
THIRD CHAKRA	THE SOLAR CHAKRA yellow colour self esteem, honour and integrity processing food in the upper digestive tract, toward assimilation processing emotional stimuli that come to one, toward integration integrating "gut" feelings
FOURTH CHAKRA	THE HEART CHAKRA colour green, soothing, life giving cycles of breathing and heart rhythms well-spring of love for self and others pleasure for entire body compassion - understanding without judgment
FIFTH CHAKRA	THROAT CHAKRA blue in colour control of metabolic rate via the thyroid gland communication and expression of self "speaking ones truth": choice, decision, intent, will
SIXTH CHAKRA	"THIRD EYE", FACE, OR BROW CHAKRA violet in colour perception of spiritual identity eye of spiritual awareness intuitive visions, internal or external pituitary and pineal glands, hypothalamus of the brain body's "mission control" and coordination neurochemically
SEVENTH CHAKRA	CROWN CHAKRA colour violet/purple integrating consciously and unconsciously for whole organism energy of connection with the larger field energize lower chakras aperture through which "grace" flows into our body and our lives
